Community Church Rochford
Our Vision
Gather - Grow - Go

Gather
We want to be a community who gather to encounter God together, where every generation feels valued and connected to others.

Grow
We want to be a community that grows both in number and as individuals. We want to see people healed by the love of God and discipled to be fruitful in every area of their lives.

Go
We want to be a community that is impacting our wider community. We want to love the people we meet by serving them, telling them the good news and praying for an encounter with Jesus.

Our Beliefs
We are a Christian church and members of the Evangelical Alliance.
We subscribe to The
Evangelical Alliance Basis of Faith

What we can expect from the leaders of
Community Church Rochford:

Leaders will seek to be …

Open and honest, accessible, humble, open to question and challenge, leading transparently with clear purpose, explaining to bring understanding, demonstrating integrity.
Our Values

Our values are about how we live and behave, how we treat others and how we can expect to be treated.

Together we will seek to be …

Welcoming
Inclusive, accepting, showing the grace, mercy and love of God.

Caring
Loving, encouraging, supportive, compassionate. teaching and nurturing to help everyone become the person God wants them to be.

Respectful
Showing honour and esteem, valuing each person, building up, dealing honestly with people, never belittling or undermining.

Enabling
Developing and releasing our people in their faith and gifting, building relationship with and a dependence on God, purposefully moving towards our eternal destinies.

In looking outwards, we will seek to be …

Relational
Towards churches locally, by developing relationships with leaders and working together in areas of common vision.

Towards individuals and church organisations, by developing relationships that lead to mutual support and accountability.

Impacting
Serving and relating to individuals and our community.
